Hi! I’m Dawn

I found myself rebuilding my life after betrayal and the end of a 21-year marriage. I knew how to keep moving forward...but I also learned that moving forward and truly healing aren’t always the same thing. 

My healing journey required me to look honestly at my hurt, my thoughts, my choices, my boundaries, and even my understanding of forgiveness. Most importantly, it required me to lean more deeply into God and allow Him to transform me...not simply help me survive what happened.

Over time, I began to realize that the ending I never would have chosen was also creating space for growth I couldn’t yet see. I was learning to reclaim my peace, rediscover who I was, and become more intentional about the woman I wanted to be and the life I wanted to build.

Rising Stronger Academy grew from those lessons.

I created RSA for Christian women who are rebuilding after divorce and know there must be more on the other side than simply “getting through it.” This is a place to do the inner work...to heal, grow, deepen your faith, and intentionally step into what God is calling you toward next.

I don’t believe our painful chapters have to become our identities. They can become places from which we learn, grow, and eventually help illuminate the path for someone coming behind us.

By God’s grace, we can rise stronger. 🦋
